To help keep up with this growth we are looking for an outstanding HVAC Mechanic to join our facility.


    A HVAC Mechanic supports heating and cooling operations at all Melaleuca properties.  Performs HVAC repairs and preventive maintenance as required by manufacturer


    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Maintains all equipment by sanitizing, cleaning, lubricating, and making mechanical repairs.
    • Work long or unusual hours on assigned shift.
    • Perform various special projects according to skill and ability.
    • Certified Journeyman HVAC
    • Ability to give direction and drive efficiency.


    Knowledge & Skills

    • Ability to troubleshoot all equipment in facility.
    • Ability to work independently and continually with little direction.
    • Ability to weld, using TIG, MIG, and ARC methods. (Recommended)
    • Ability to install and repair plumbing.
    • Ability to work under stress.
    • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
    • Ability to train others in applicable skills.
    • Ability to lead in all areas of work environment.
    • Standing, sitting or walking for duration of shift.
    • Visually read work orders, product, etc.
    • Manual dexterity for such duties as needed in the maintenance field.
    • Ability to work in high elevations, climb stairs, etc.
    • Ability to organize and coordinate projects effectively.
    • Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
    • Good organizational skills.
    • Ability to train mechanics in all aspects
    • Written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
    • Ability to communicate with all departments.
    • Ability to maintain waste water pumps, chillers, boilers, heat exchanges, air compressors, RO water systems, and inventory.


    • Beginning electrical experience.
    • Knowledge of boiler operation and all associated boiler tests.
    • Knowledge of advanced mechanical tools.
    • Working knowledge of electrical systems.
    • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
