Overview

Ensure quality events are effectively reviewed, documented, investigated, and CAPAs initiated, when necessary. Also assist with product evaluation as needed.

Responsibilities

Essential

  • Accountable for maintaining quality events within MasterControl.
  • Review quality event information for Incident Reports, Deviation Reports, Non-Conforming Material Reports, and CAPAs.
  • Contact associates in other departments to for quality event related information.
  • Review quality events to determine if an investigation or CAPA is necessary.
  • Conduct thorough investigation of quality events within MasterControl, as required, including providing assistance to vendors, Purchasing, Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing and other groups as applicable.
  • Lead Material Review Board meetings with management for determining course of action on NCMRs.
  • Data mining/Trend Analysis for quality events for metrics.
  • Assist with annual product reviews.
  • Participate in Change Control as necessary.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Associates degree (or better) in an applied science or mathematics with 3+ years of experience in a regulated industry.
  • A working knowledge of Federal Regulations regarding the manufacturing and distribution of drug, food, and nutritional supplement products.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and policies.
  • Excellent computer skills with word processing, spreadsheet, and databases.
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
  • Proficient mathematical or statistical skills, especially related to trending of data.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate projects and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced setting with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ability to work and communicate interdepartmentally.
  • Self-starter, task oriented.

  • Ability to climb stairs.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
