Overview

Job Summary

Melaleuca Inc. is seeking an experienced, dynamic HR Business Partner to join a fast-growing and exciting organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of N. American HR, the HR Business Partner is a key contributor role in the North American Human Resource organization. The successful candidate will have broad scope of responsibilities and will enjoy the independence and mandate to develop and enhance the capabilities of the Human Resources organization. Primary responsibilities will include: employee relations, performance management, compliance, corporate training and some project management.

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As the HR Business Partner you will support the Sr. Director of HR for all aspects of employer-team member relations and maintaining workplace policies and procedures for the several key divisions of Melaleuca, Inc. at our Global HQ.

 

Specific duties for the HR Business Partner include:

  • Act as a point of contact for Management on employee relation issues and other HR related matters for assigned departments and ensure alignment with the Company's values, vision, and culture
  • Support the Sr. Director and CHRO in the planning, coordination and management of all assigned team member events including but not limited to: annual employee meeting, company picnic and company holiday party
  • Assist in developing and administering exempt and nonexempt compensation programs to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements
  • Help implement and maintain all Human Resources policies and procedures ensuring regulatory compliance with Federal, State and local laws, regulations, and standards
  • Actively manage HRIS/ATS and employee data integrity, reporting, and maintenance
  • Maintain awareness of legal requirements or law changes related to day-to-day management of team members and work to reduce liability risks to the Company
  • In coordination with the Manager of Corporate Training, you may assist in training sessions for team members and develop new initiatives as the Company’s needs change
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve employer-team member relationships, build morale, and increase productivity

Specific requirements for the HR Business Partner include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • One or more years of progressive HR experience - experience in a company with 200+ employees is preferred.
  • Experience with various HR functions including but not limited to: team member relations, compensation, benefits administration, safety, retention, policy management, training and development, legal, compliance, reporting, etc.
  • Ability to be a trusted advisor and advocate for all team members while supporting the Company’s objectives
  • Working Knowledge of Federal and Idaho labor and wage laws
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; must be able to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to communicate clearly and appropriately to all audiences
  • Experience enforcing policies and procedures to meet organizational change and new labor laws along with being able to proactively identity problems and offer solutions
