                                                                               Duties and Responsibilities

Essential

  • Ensures All GMP regulations are followed
  • Observes all associates periodically to ensure proper procedures are being followed.
  • Ensures that all product deficiencies are corrected in order to maintain high quality standards.
  • Ensures that all personnel adhere to all applicable company policies and procedures.
  • Oversees that the facility, inside and out, is maintained in a clean, neat and orderly manner.
  • Ensures that all associates in the manufacturing area understand the quality standards which are set for each product and ensures that these standards are being maintained at all times.
  • Directs/conducts daily scheduling meetings.
  • Ensures that any changes in company policies, procedures, etc. are communicated to the associates.
  • Help all associates to achieve personal and professional goals.
  • Maintain high moral.
  • Communicate all information pertaining to associates, processes, needs, etc. with VP of Operations
  • Ensures all safety procedures are adhered to by department personnel.
  • Works with Master Scheduler to maintain an efficient Production Finishing Schedule.
  • Works with management to make sure we are in compliance with all regulatory agencies, i.e. FDA, OSHA, City, etc.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

                                                                                    Supervision of Others

  • Supervises two or more staff members by performing such duties as recommending employment status. Responsible for hiring, firing, promotions, advancements, and career growth. Must be able to interview applicants and provide counseling, training, conflict resolution along with coordinating with other departments. Manager will need to conduct meetings, recommend wage increases, etc.

                                                                                 Minimum Qualifications

Essential

  • Demonstrate leadership ability.
  • Through knowledge of company policies, procedures, and the company marketing plan
  • 10 key by touch
  • Typing 50 wpm.
  • Detailed work and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and create solutions
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on projects.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under stress.
  • Word processing experience.
  • Sit with intermittent walking.
  • Communicate (hearing & speech) with individuals in person and by phone.
  • Visually read reports, computer screen, etc.
  • General business skills.
  • 5 to 7 years previous experience in Manufacturing/Quality Production
  • Strong customer relation skills for conflict situations.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.

  • Word processing, graphics, and spreadsheet skills
