KC Returns Assistant - $18.25 M-F 6:30am-3pm

Melaleuca has an immediate opening for a Returns Assistant to customer returns.  Processes product adhering to guidelines outlined in our standard operating procedures.

This full-time position is located in Kansas City, Missouri – We are a non-smoking campus

Shift:

1^st shift – M-F 6:30 am – 3:00 pm

Responsibilities:

Essential

• Enters all returns statistical information is entered into system on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Responsible that all returns are brought to line, and processed in 24 hours.
• Communicates closely with Consumer advocates and help desk.
• Communicate with Production and QA Depts. To restock quality product to shipping lines.
• Keeps a log of Returns
• Process returns when needed.
• Requisitions supplies for Dept.
• Enters appropriate information for returned items into the computer by recording the reason it was returned, the date, customer account information, etc.
• Visually inspects product to determine inventory destination.
• Assists in inventory transfers.
• Visually inspects each returned package for pertinent customer information.
• Reads through customer correspondence quickly and accurately.
• Reworks inventory
• Sorts and counts inventory.

Additional

• Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
• Helps on shipping line or other departments when needed.

Qualifications:

• 30 wpm typing.

• Ability to read and write effectively.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
• Visually read reports, computer screen, etc.
• Pulling, stretching, bending, and lifting, for duration of shift.
• Standing, sitting, or walking for duration of shift.
• Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.).
• Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
• 10-key by touch
